WTMJ host Tracy Johnson was joined in-studio by CBS 58 Reporter AJ Bayatpour and they began by discussing the recent Marquette Law School poll that asked voters how they felt about Trump's actions in his first 3 weeks of office. -Next, they shift to talking about Milwaukee Public Schools and the board’s selection of a new superintendent Brenda Cassellius. They discussed whether she could do the job. They also talk about the MPS Golda Mair school having traces of lead. Plus, MPS’s new comptroller may have already exited the position. -AJ quickly touched on MPS’s looming deadline regarding school resource officers. Tracy Johnson was next joined in-studio by Quinton Klabon from the Institute for Reforming Government to talk about their recent survey on parents in Milwaukee about choice of school. -They then pivoted to the Wisconsin State Superintendent race, who the candidates are and why it mattered. -Tracy asked Quinton for his closing thoughts on the state of education in Wisconsin.
