How do you sleep the night before you are about to meet your children for the first time?
The answer is... You don't. We couldn't sleep because we knew our lives were about to fundamentally change. When we started our process of adoption, we had no idea the trials and tribulations we would face and the patience we would learn. It literally changed my life.
Going through something your heart desperately wants and you have no control over is something that changed who I am now as a person.
