Biography
Dr. Shawn Marie Higgins is an esteemed Osteopathic doctor who provides a holistic and innovative approach to healing. She is Board Certified in Neuro-musculo-skeletal Medicine and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine as well as a faculty member of the Osteopathic Cranial Academy. Dr. Higgins utilizes a variety of innovative techniques to support the self-healing mechanism of the body. Among the techniques she utilizes is her use of interval entrainment, which harnesses sound and vibration to “speak” directly to the cells in the body in their own language, thus stimulating the body’s inherent healing abilities. Dr. Higgins is a graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at Maine Dartmouth and currently has a private practice in the state of Maine.
