Our guest today is Dr. Ed Yardeni, founder of Yardeni Research. He is also the author of multiple books, including Fed Watching for Fun & Profit: A Primer for Investors.
We discuss his recent book, which is about the history of the Fed through the end of 2019 and couldn't be more timely, and get his thoughts on the unprecedented fiscal and monetary policy in response to COVID. We also get his take on the buyback debate and why he believes the increase in the market has caused the increase in buybacks, contrary to popular opinion.
