This week I'm joined by Arturo Sanchez, founder and CEO of Sofia, a Mexican competitor to European digital health platforms, taking aim at the Mexican health insurance and primary care sectors. In the $65bn USD Mexican healthcare sector, 91% of private spending is paid out of pocket, with too many people forced to pay extraordinary costs for care and pressures on access to primary services.
Arturo Sanchez is hoping to change that with a new digital service bringing care to patients at a lower cost.
