There is something deeply regulating about moving.
Rhythm restores choice. Movement restores agency. The body remembers that activation can feel alive instead of overwhelming.
In this ceremony, we explore ecstatic dance as a way of breaking out of stasis. A chance to loosen the rigidity that keeps us small and reconnect with the freedom and aliveness of the body.

This ceremony is dedicated to Milagros, my wild wise woman, midwife to the Goddess, and my favourite dance partner. Thank you for dancing with me through so many thresholds, and for calling me forward into more of myself.

Preparing the space:

• Find a private space where you can move freely. Make it beautiful
• Use headphones or a good speaker for full sound quality
• Dim the lights or light a candle if it feels supportive
• Allow yourself to move without choreography or self-judgment
