Ayurveda teaches us that disease has six stages of progression. If we're in tune with our body and mind, we can catch the subtle signals of imbalance early and restore health before a disease manifests in the body. In this episode, Colette explains Ayurveda's teachings on these stages of disease. She discusses the three reasons for disease which are:

1. Mistaken intellect.
2. Improper use of the senses.
3. Seasons/time

She then delves deeper into the six stages of disease according to Ayurveda and those stages are:

1. Accumulation
2. Aggravation
3. Spread/Circulation
4. Localisation
5. Manifestation
6. Differentiation/Change
