While I don't have good news and I would be careful about buying in to this market, it doesn't mean you don't have long term opportunities. Selling everything is not a strategy because you'll miss the pop back up, but right now we very well may be in the recession that everyone predicted.
$AAPL is no longer the largest company in the world - Saudi's oil fund Aramco is. This to me says oil and energy is the key. My suggestion is that if you're trading for more than 1 day in this market, pick a company that's in energy or food. Those are the 2 things I think have opportunities.
Crypto is crashing because stable coins are found to be not stable. Crypto also has been shown to be not unrelated to central banks so I think the original thesis of Satoshi is not panning out to be true.
Leon Cooperman said it best I think - the drop will be over when we see a company report average earnings and is up and it then opens up the next morning. Disney earnings were average to below average - it was up - but couldn't hold. There's just not enough money in the market to support an up day. $DIS is a $140 stock when things are good.
