This week's episode was an impromptu one on on a highly requested topic: answering your questions around photography, as it relates to working with photographers for content. (ie. how to find a photographer, questions about collab, posing, etc.). Whether you think you do or not, you have a personal brand and you'll eventually need photos for something - whether it's for your LinkedIn profile, your website, marketing collateral.. it's the world we're living in. And for most people, getting photos taken is really not their favorite thing and can be a huge source of anxiety. When I knew I would be shooting photos with Linda "Lin" Marty, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get some of those photography related questions answered. Lin is former advertising executive turned professional photographer who specializes in shooting portrait and products for industry influencers & brands. I love working with her and she works with influencers like The LA Girl (Ep.13) & The Mother Overload and has worked with brand like Dove, Johnny Walker Red Label, & Fabuloso. Lin also has a really impressive digital advertising portfolio working on auto, hospitality, entertainment, & CPG brands that we'll get into in another episode. Her background in ad strategy is one of the things that I think makes her so great to work with as a photographer because you need someone who can understand you and your brand so you get the results you're looking for.
