The Thyroid Fixer 274. Choosing the RIGHT Protein Powder For Hypothyroidism and the Benefits of L-Tyrosine
So many questions come in about protein powders because let's face it as much as I talk about getting adequate or optimal amounts of protein daily, it is as ultimately important to select the protein powder that works best for you and your situation. The why behind this is that animal based amino acids (which are in bone broth based protein powders) will help develop your muscle tissue and help your hair become thick, strong and beautiful. Now who wouldn't want that?
In this episode, I will describe all the types of protein powders out there and go over the pros and cons of each. In the end, if you have hypothyroidism, you will want to select a bone broth based protein powder for best results. Without adding in a protein powder, it will be literally impossible to get the recommended 1 gram per pound of lean body mass of protein daily. OUR BODY NEEDS AMINO ACIDS PERIOD!
