Damsel the Elephant's Transformation

Damsel, the loyal and calm elephant owned by a king in the holy city of Benares, overhears a crew of thieves plotting robberies and violence. Believing that the thieves are there to tutor her, Damsel transforms into a ruthless and aggressive elephant. The king seeks the help of the Bodhisattva, who discovers that Damsel has been corrupted by the evil conversations she overheard. The Bodhisattva arranges for sages to sit near Damsel and discuss kindness and goodness, which ultimately leads to her reverting back to her gentle and good-natured self.
