In this episode of The Unstoppable Podcast, we’re talking to Shawn Cheng. He’s a partner at ConsenSys Mesh, the investment arm of ConsenSys, and he’s here to talk about investing and helping projects grow in the decentralized world.

Shawn talks about how social tokens helped him learn about crypto and blockchain, and explains what ConsenSys is and how ConsenSys Mesh grew out of it. He also talks about his experience going from a venture investor to having his own project, and how ConsenSys Mesh decides what projects to invest in.

We discuss some of the practical ways ConsenSys Mesh helps companies, in addition to funding, and Shawn shares some ideas on how crypto projects can improve their UX. He also gives his predictions on how things will change as we move from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0, and how ads specifically could change as we move into Web 3.0.

We also talk about the importance of communities in the decentralized world, and what the future holds for ConsenSys Mesh.
