This week, we begin a short series on the ancient mystery cults of the Mediterranean. In this episode, we go over what an ancient mystery is, who it was practiced by, where the cults could be found, and what sorts of practices and rites were in these cults. Then, we go over in particular a few of the Greek mysteries, including the Eleusinian and Dionysian cults.
