There’s probably no such thing as a typical ultrarunner, but if there is, Dan LaMorte ain’t it. A standup comic by trade, Dan started running as a way to lose weight, has never run a race shorter than 40 miles, and still smokes cannabis, although he was stone-cold sober when Matt and Hanna caught up with him for this surprisingly earnest and poignant interview. We dare you to listen to it and not come away liking Dan as much as we do.
