Stop letting Republicans in red states make excuses for not banning vaccine mandates and other forms of COVID fascism. I explain that we are living in a time when we must apply the adage of “the Constitution is not a suicide pact.” We can’t allow the other side to violate the most important parts of the Constitution and then, when we are suffering from the consequences, we get limited by technicalities in terms of what we can do.
