Outsourcing Our Children's Safety with Ben Gillenwater

Ben Gillenwater is a father who started a tech education platform called the Family IT Guy. He offers enormous numbers of educational videos, big tech updates, news, and the harsh realities of the tech world into which parents are putting their children. He came in to talk about the paradigm shift he sees happening where parents no longer consider the safety of their own children but instead just plug kids into big tech products and assume that someone else is making sure everything is safe. These are the sharp corners and harsh realities that parents now find themselves surrounded by.

The school systems in the area are also quite diverse. Boise school district and West Ada School District, though right next to each other, are quite different. Ada County is also home to our state capital and many of our elected officials.
