Yahoo’s Scott Pianowski and Dalton Del Don look through the slate of bets up for wagering at BetMGM to figure out what teams will surprise and disappoint, their picks for awards like MVP and Rookie of the Year, and place a few bets on props like fantasy points and most receiving yards in a game.

You might be wondering what betting has to do with fantasy football, but it’s a great way to have a chance to still be invested if you miss out on one of your favorite fantasy targets in a fantasy draft. Only one team will get Terry McLaurin in a draft, but if you expect a break out year, the over on his season-long fantasy points is available for a wager. And it goes the other way too: You can use odds and lines to see how Vegas projects players to inform your fantasy moves.
