Disputes arise mainly over who should be baptized and who may administer it, not its core meaning.

ADVICE

Handle Spontaneous Baptisms Carefully

Do not practice manipulative or staged 'spontaneous' baptisms that pressure people.
Baptize when someone can clearly articulate the gospel and genuine conversion is evident.
