In today’s episode, I’m talking to the incredible Michelle Boyde, a master hypnotist, about the power of hypnosis and how it can be used to create change in our lives. We discuss the importance of embodiment and taking action in addition to hypnosis and the role of beliefs and programming in our subconscious mind.
Michelle explains that hypnosis works by guiding the brainwaves into a theta state, where the critical faculty is bypassed and suggestions for new beliefs and behaviors can be implanted. And the need to challenge beliefs that are held as facts and expand our view of what is possible. We explore the concept of beliefs as the parameters of one's potential and how expanding one's comfort zone can lead to growth and healing. Michelle also shares how she transitioned from a corporate career to becoming a hypnotherapist and offers various ways to work with her.
