Dave and Tim talk to Lizzie Reezay about the 2004 CDF document clarifying that Catholics cannot vote for abortion or for pro-abortion politicians.  Because the “life issues” exclude policy matters such as war, death penalty, and variant political economies, Catholics may permissively disagree on such matters among one another or even the pope without removing themselves from the state of sanctifying grace.  But bona fide life policies are the most pressing in our day and thus warrant the voting Catholic’s first and best scrutiny each voting season
