"We long to be a people of genuine and sincere faith, but often we allow false forms of religion to integrate into our lives. As we celebrate Lent together as a church, we will focus on Jesus' warnings to the Pharisees of insincere faith that can so easily enter in, and allow Jesus to purify our hearts. If we want to see Jesus change the world, we must begin by letting him change us."
