One local union is taking action to prevent suicide among federal correctional officers

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and AFGE Local 4070 is launching a new initiative to protect the mental health of corrections officers on the front lines. Here with a message of urgency and hope is president of the local union and a driving force behind the effort, Jon Zumkehr.
