Today David Tenney joins us to share with us his move from MLS to the NBA. After Dave shares with us how he got to Orlando he shares with us what he learned as he entered the new position in Orlando inlacing what brought with him there, things that he has had to make alterations too, and some things that are completely different. We then discuss how the impact of increased number of competitions and great amounts of travel impact the direction of how they monitor the players and handle team wide activities. This includes how the discussions and decisions may be different due to the culture of the sport and how some things are very similar between basketball players and soccer players. For the last 15 minutes of this discussion Dave shares with us how he looks at the development of these athletes, how the origination is assist them in the process of building resilience in their athletes, and how the newer expansions in The G League have impacted developmental players and how their development is organized.
