Baidu unveiled its upgraded generative AI model Ernie 4.0 at its annual tech conference, positioning it as a rival to OpenAI's GPT-4. Meta achieved a neuroimaging breakthrough, enabling AIs to reconstruct images from brain signals.
On the partnership front, IBM extended its alliance with AWS to build generative AI solutions and train thousands of consultants. Similarly, Foxconn and Nvidia joined forces to develop AI factories leveraging Nvidia's chips.
In other news, Deloitte launched an internal chatbot DARTbot to handle complex accounting queries. Adobe dazzled with Project Primrose, an AI-powered interactive dress.
