Neville labelled the display as a ‘shocking and sobering day’ for the club. Redknapp agreed and believes Man United’s progression is going backwards, going on to say that ‘they’re at rock bottom at the moment’.
The hosts' task was made even more difficult when Bruno Fernandes was dismissed for a high challenge on James Maddison minutes before half-time.
