Gustavo A. Barboza, holds the Jack and Vada Reynolds Endowed Chair of International Business, Loyola University of New Orleans, with a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois. His research interests cover international economics, macroeconomics, and economic development, and he has emphasized startups, knowledge spillovers, and technology transfer in emerging markets.
