23. Jaclyn Skeans: Sewing The Planets into Art

How do we marry astrology with a beloved creative practice? How can we invite once-in-a-lifetime astrological transits to become our collaborators in creating the art that is our lives?

In this episode, my collaborator Britten LaRue and I are joined by a dearly beloved community member - Jaclyn Skeans. Jaclyn was one of our students during our astrology class last year and this year, Jaclyn  will be joining us as part of the community support team for our upcoming course, Astrology as Praxis. We thought it's a perfect opportunity to talk to Jaclyn about her deeply magical experiences emerging as an astrologer. This conversation feels like a poignant, heart-led conversation between three Pisces suns.

We discussed how Jaclyn came into astrology and her unique experience of double emergence - first to name herself as an astrologer fluent in giving readings, and then as a textile artist creating astro-inspired work. Jaclyn shared her incredible process of listening to the planets for guidance on how to materialize her vision of marrying her artistic and astrological practice. We also spoke about how Jaclyn worked with the transits to transform her own life and how the planets shared their guidance in her creation process.
