The @HealthcareFacilitiesNetwork welcomes Skanda Skandaverl to the Network. Skanda began his tenure as the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) President in January 2024. 

Skanda is the Division Director of Facilities Management, Energy, and Infrastructure, Midwest, at CommonSpirit Health. Skanda's home base is Omaha, NE, and he has accountability for more than 30 hospitals in 4 states. 

Over the course of our episode, we discuss Skanda's interesting career path, his entry into healthcare, his goals as ASHE President, his belief that collaboration, not competition, is the future, and the challenges facing healthcare engineering.
