Helpful Definitions:
- Idol: A man-made image that represents another god or something to be worshiped.
- Idolatry:
- Try to worship something in the hopes it will make you into God.
- Take a creaturely thing and exalt it in a way that belongs to God alone in hopes that it will reward you.
- The spirit of giving oneself over to a false god in a way that only belongs to God.
