The Theoretical Limitations of Deconstruction

The post-structuralist assumptions of deconstruction, though they play with language and engage in self-commentary, have a tendency to produce endless variations of the same theoretical propositions. This poetic style may seem to embellish new ideas, but it often fails to produce anything genuinely novel. The problem with deconstruction lies in its excessively theoretical nature, excluding the truth dimension and rendering everything within its own terms. This limitation prevents deconstruction from engaging with practical or dirty reality. It is trapped in its own theoretical framework and struggles to provide a perspective beyond its own concepts.
