I have attempted suicide multiple times, I've been in a mental hospital, I've tried every medication on the planet, etc. So, I've lived it. It sucks. But I didn't start really working on it until I got sober and later when I met my wife. It started with weekly therapy, then trying different depression medications, then moving and trying a new therapist and doctor. Dealing with depression spells that would last for months, etc. But it wasn't until I was finally correctly diagnosed as Bipolar 2, that it finally started getting better. This is my story.
