Dr. Annie Fenn is the founder of The Brain Health Kitchen, a one of a kind cooking school that teaches recipes and lifestyle interventions that will help prevent cognitive decline. Dr. Fenn practiced as a board Certified OB/GYN for 20 years but then pursued her passion for the culinary arts.
In this conversation we talk about her journey and what inspired her to go from practicing OB/GYN to focusing on culinary interventions. She walks us through aspects of the MIND diet and what foods are best for our brains. Both to be at their optimal health and for preventing cognitive decline. Because we all come from different cultural backgrounds and cuisines, Dr. Fenn talks about how we can still be healthy cooking our traditional diets, even if it isn’t necessarily the “mediterranean diet”
