We start off our second season with a special guest, Paul Kan, a High Performance and Executive Coach, Talent Development Specialist, TEDx Keynote Speaker, and Host of the Yes I Kan Podcast.

After almost a decade of sales and leadership experience managing multi-million-dollar portfolios with billion-dollar brands, Paul left his corporate job to pursue a more meaningful path. He has spent the past two years coaching over 300 corporate and individual clients from CEOs to Olympians to up-level their Emotional Intelligence capability, develop, nurture and retain diverse talent and bring out the best with their teams. Today, he is on a mission to empower and inspire others to create their best version of an extraordinary life with joy, authenticity, and freedom.

“Freedom From the Inside Out” is a journey that Paul knows well.  Born in a girl’s body 31 years ago, Paul spent his early years bullied for being a “girl who was too much like a boy, too loud, too rowdy, too opinionated”.  He didn’t have language back then for his experience of being in the wrong body.  He just thought he was wrong.  He was a very lonely teenager, isolated and rejected even from his own family, Paul tried hard to be and do the “right things” and gain acceptance.

Tune in and hear Paul’s story of transformation, literally and figuratively, as he navigated the road of discovering his true identity and made the courageous choice to transition from female to male.  Hear about his life today as a married, transgender man, a new father, fresh off the TedX stage where he inspired his audience with his amazing message of hope, and courage for anyone who struggles with self acceptance, no matter who they are.
