Today’s word of the day is ‘twisties’ as in the yips as in Simone Biles withdrew from the Olympic team all-around in gymnastics after experiencing what is basically a mental block. Biles, and gymnasts around the world, are saying that these are scary, frightening, and can cause serious injury if you fall.
