Alex graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with his Master's and his PhD. He has written extensively on Charles Spurgeon, his writing includes Spurgeon and the Poor: How the Gospel Compels Christian Social Concern and the books we discuss on this podcast, Spurgeon: A Life.
