The thing about expository preaching and systematically working through a big chunk of scripture is you end up taking on topics you'd otherwise skip (sometimes because they're so difficult or painful). That happened today as we looked at Jesus' teaching in the Sermon on the Mount on divorce.
I'm not sure there are more sensitive topics than this one. We tried to look at this topic from a holistic view of scripture and through the lens of the ministry of Jesus who loves to renew and restore all things.
