A Congressman attends a seance and is plagued by a vengeful spirit. Strange events unfold during the seance, revealing the power of the spirit. The narrator helps a troubled customer and discovers a sinister symbol in an empty house. Mrs. Croudy has her own unsettling seance and makes contact with the vengeful spirit who blames the narrator for her death.
