Aries Zulkarnain: Being Effective In The Kingdom

In John 14:12 Jesus told His disciples, “he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do.” We must understand the function and type of work Jesus speaks of: the function of work is to bear witness to Who Jesus is, so that people will believe in Him; the type of work is ergon (Gr), which doesn't just mean miracles, signs and wonders, but the everyday occupations we undertake in the marketplace. In this encouraging message, Aries Zulkarnain assures us that through the power of the Holy Spirit in us, even the smallest things we do with excellence in our everyday lives are able to bear witness to Jesus and bring glory to God. In this age of COVID we may feel like we are limited in so many ways, but we can remain effective witnesses for Christ in our actions and our attitude.
