Home Business Profits with Ray Higdon How Do I Get People To Place Larger Orders?
Most salespeople leave money on the table every single day because they're scared to ask one simple question. In this episode Ray tackles a topic that's red hot right now: how do you get people to place a bigger order the first time around, without pressuring them or feeling salesy about it? He breaks down two real angles he's used himself, including a story from just last week when a leader reached out wanting to gift her team a $27 membership. One question about what she was actually trying to accomplish turned that into a $13,000 investment, not because Ray twisted her arm, but because he found what she really wanted and aligned it with the right solution.
Ray also unpacks the difference between persuasion and manipulation, and why asking someone if they want to make money fast or slow can completely change the size of their first order. He shares the numbers behind why bigger initial investments often lead to faster results, and why the level someone comes in at shapes their confidence with every person they talk to after. If you've ever been afraid to ask for the sale you know your prospect actually needs, this episode gives you the exact language to use next time.
