HEAL with Kelly Checking In with Eva Lee from HEAL
One of the most powerful parts of the HEAL documentary was following the journey of Eva Lee, a working mother of two with a mystery illness that no western doctors could figure out. After seeing every kind of specialist under the sun and receiving no answers or diagnosis, she had to resort to taking steroids daily to keep her painful rash outbreaks at bay. It was a very typical case of treating the symptom but not getting to the root cause, and then having to deal with the side effects that long term steroid use brings on top of it all. During the filming of HEAL I was determined to introduce her to different types of more natural healing modalities in hopes that she would find the answers and healing she was looking for.
