A short time later, he was suspended by the General Medical Council. His crime? Well, in a number of social media posts he strongly condemned Israel's brutal bombardment of Gaza in the wake of the October 7th attack. That's right. A doctor with twelve years of unblemished service to the NHS was suspended for expressing an opinion. Asif shares his story with Richie.
