Finn Ross - Lake Hawea Station
Finn describes himself as an adventurer (first and foremost) and a deep nature frother who has spent a big part of his life chasing epic adventures.
With the other part focused studying all over the world, launching diverse and unique entrepreneurial ventures and now whilst doing his PhD at Deakin University, leading the environmental and sustainability initiatives at Lake Hawea Station, New Zealand.
It was during a Climate lecture at a US University where he first had the realisation of climate anxiety, to realise that its not one of the issues of the century it's the issue of now!
When we unpacked the topic of robust family conversations and debates over the dinner table, Finn shared that there have been quite a mix as of late including cultural debates, farm debates, the use of land at Lake Hawea Station and future regen projects.
Finn has some strong calls for action from our community to understand climate change and the intergenerational impact.
