At Festool Tilo and his management team started practicing Toyota Kata in 2007, as part of Mike Rother's groundbreaking research.
By doing so, Tilo and his team established continuous improvement as a daily working routine throughout all processes and areas of the plant. That led to winning the A. T. Kearny manufacturing competition "Factory of the Year" and the WHU/INSEAD Industrial Excellence Award.

Maria Tapani Larson
Maria is a seasoned Lean management expert, currently serving as the Regional Lean Director at AstraZeneca in Södertälje, Sweden.
