Set up and played ALOT with the premium service on Seeking Alpha yesterday and while I still don’t have the hang of their Quant system which is their algo, the benefits I see is:
- Portfolio analysis - you can even link your brokerage account
- Once you import that portfolio (and you can do multiple ones), you get news and alerts in your email about the portfolio. I have a small account in Webull but I believe they do this as well - but I have alerts off on my phone for apps - so email is good for me to read whenever I want (boomer alert)
- If you Follow a stock - you can set price and rating alerts to where they alert you when a stock hits a price or an analyst rating happens - Trendspider can do this for the price - but I like the analyst alert since it’s hard to check your portfolio in finviz.
