Luther’s Small Catechism. 5th and 6th commandments: No Minimizing Sin.

Luther does not allow us to minimize our sins, for when we minimize our sins we end up minimizing our Savior’s work. Stop hurting and harming people. In Christ’s forgiveness and the help of the Holy Spirit, start helping others in every physical needs. Stop lusting and living a sexually immoral life. In Christ’s forgiveness and by the help of the Holy Spirit, live a chaste life outside of marriage and sexually pure life in marriage. Lord have mercy.
