Chris McCreery the director of the Northern Ireland Science Festival which takes place from the 16th to 26th of February talks to Ronan about the Science Festival, what you can expect at it, who some of the speakers are including the first British Astronaut Helen Sharman, Professor Alice Roberts, the director of IBM’s Watson project, Marcus du Sautoy the UK professor for public understanding, and Tom Solomon who was Roald Dahl’s doctor. Chris also talks about the worlds first AI beer, the science behind Irish Whiskeys, and Dame Susan Jocelyn Bell Burnell who discovered pulsars and will be delivering the closing talk with Jim Al-Khalili on the last day of the festival.
