Marijuana Addiction Marijuana is the most commonly used illicit drug. Well, that was the story when it was still an unregulated, illegal and illicit market. Now, the market is shifting, legalization is spreading, and THC is bringing on a whole new range of issues and causing more people to be addicted. Although marijuana is just as addictive as alcohol, opioids, or stimulants, it looks different on the surface and may make you question if you have an addiction at all. It doesn't usually come with the classic 'rock bottom' moment you hear others talk about in their addiction stories, and the signs and symptoms aren't so easily identified. But that doesn't change the fact that people are suffering, they need resources, and they need support.
