The two discuss why Sonya wanted the book to read like a classic sitcom, which characters and storylines were inspired by her own life, and what she is working on next (as well as how it ties into this book). Sonya also breaks the news that she is writing the first South Asian holiday Hallmark movie titled Christmas Spice which is debuting at the end of this year!
