The underlying economic fundamentals in the U.S. remain strong, with unemployment benefit rolls at their lowest in 52 years and manufacturing and homebuilding both increasing in February.
VOO is currently offering a cheaper entry point for investors, trading at 19.7 price-to-earnings compared to the 26.1 P/E ratio of the S&P 500 at the beginning of 2022.
