The statistics are concerning. Even those women that do manage often end up with less than half of what most men do.
Unfortunately the gender pay gap and maternity leave, along with increasing rates of divorce and separation, piled on top of primary caregiving responsibilities, put enormous financial pressure on women.
So female property investment leaders Nicola McDougall and Kate Hill got together to write the book The Female Investor, which won Best Personal Finance and Investment Book Award at the Australian Business Book Awards in 2022.
They brought together their personal learnings and insights to help women create security and wealth through property.
Nicola is a successful property investor, business owner, award winning journalist and current Chairperson of the Property Investment Professionals of Australia. She’s also the former editor of the Australian Property Investor magazine and the co-founder of Bricks & Mortar Media.
Kate Hill is a qualified property investment adviser and buyer’s agent, with many years of first hand experience researching real estate and making hundreds of successful property purchases for her clients.
